Fell's Point Inner City Segway Tour - 2 Hours

The best ride on two wheels! Come try it yourself and see what all the buzz is about! Enjoy a two hour guided Segway Safari tour that takes you over various terrain while showing you sites of interest and some of the key attractions of the Fell's Point historic Inner City area. Your guide, while knowledgeable of local history and tourist information is also a trained segway demonstrator that can assist you with your segway riding techniques and provide you with various segway skills.

Fell's Point dates back to November 1730 with the original land purchase by its founder William Fell. As we ride the sidewalks view the many incredibly tiny houses, taverns and shops that served the community from the 1790's and early 1800's. As we tour the district, imagine a plague ravaged neighborhood full of sailors, immigrants and the poor battling the English in the early 1800's only then to be thrown into Martial Law during the civil war as it was torn by allegiances to both the North and the South.

This tour does not offer hotel pick-up. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 888-794-8291. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Segways are incredibly easy to use; they are self balancing, and move just like we do. There is no accelerator - no brakes - just lean forward to go forward, lean back to go back and stand still to stop

Riding a Segway is completely intuitive and training is included with the Safaris tours - riders can usually operate the Segway with ease within 10 minutes. And it is lots of fun! Glide at speeds up to 12.5 mph and get an up close personal look at the sites.

Designated as Maryland's first National Historic District, Fell's Point is now considered an upscale neighborhood with a strong artist community. Segway by the "trendy" waterfront restaurants, boutiques and pubs on our way to Robert Long's house dating back to 1765.

Then on to the waterfront and historic Patterson Park one of the oldest parks in Baltimore. Patterson Park is renown as the site where Baltimoreans rallied on September 12, 1814 to protect the city from the threat of a British invasion. As we ride through the park you will experience the capabilities of the segway and be exposed to the diversity of this unique neighborhood from regular local festivals in the park to the large Pagoda on Fort Hill.

Note:
~ All Segway riders in Maryland must be at least 14 years old and weigh less than 260 lbs.
~ Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
~ All riders are required to take the supervised training by a trainer, and wear the safety headgear while on the safari.
~ Riders are responsible for all damage to equipment and will be required to pay damage fees assessed by a manager.
~ Riders will be required to sign a waiver of liability.
~ Segway riding is not recommended for pregnant women.
~ Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to scheduled safari time.
