Fell's Point Segway Harbor Tour - 1 Hour

The best ride on two wheels! Come try it yourself and see what all the buzz is about! Enjoy a one hour guided Segway mini-safari tour that takes you over various terrain while showing you sites of interest and some of the key attractions of the historic Fell's Point Harbor area.

The one hour city safari includes supervised training and license. Dating back to 1730, Fell's Point is Baltimore's original deep-water harbor offering an eclectic array of cobblestone streets, historic buildings, waterside walkways, harbor views, and unique stores, bars and restaurants.

Segways are incredibly easy to use; they are self balancing, and move just like we do. There is no accelerator - no brakes - just lean forward to go forward, lean back to go back and stand still to stop

This tour does not offer hotel pick-up. Please reserve online, or call us toll-free at 888-794-8291. There is a $3.95 processing fee per order. This is a flat fee regardless of the number of tickets or tours purchased on an order.
There is a service charge per ticket. This charge will be reflected on your summary before you checkout. The total shown includes any and all taxes, fuel surcharges, and service fees. There are no additional charges.

Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Riding a Segway is completely intuitive and training is included with the Safaris tours - riders can usually operate the Segway with ease within 10 minutes. And it is lots of fun! Glide at speeds up to 12.5 mph and get an up close personal look at the sites.

Glide past 18th and 19th Century dwellings featuring antebellum and Victorian architecture. Segway along the streets that made this shipbuilding neighborhood a target of the British in 1812. Then retrace the steps of one of its most famous resident, Frederick Douglass, before he escaped slavery and went on to lead the abolutionist movement. Then step into today and imagine the filming of Sleepless in Seattle and the scenes that sparked the production of Hairspray. We'll take you to those locations and cover all of the highlights on our fast-paced safari.

Designated as Maryland's first National Historic District, Fell's Point is now considered an upscale neighborhood with a strong artist community. Segway by the "trendy" waterfront restaurants, boutiques and pubs on our way to Robert Long's house dating back to 1765.

Note:
~ All Segway riders in Maryland must be at least 14 years old and weigh less than 260 lbs.
~ Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
~ All riders are required to take the supervised training by a trainer, and wear the safety headgear while on the safari.
~ Riders are responsible for all damage to equipment and will be required to pay damage fees assessed by a manager.
~ Riders will be required to sign a waiver of liability.
~ Segway riding is not recommended for pregnant women.
~ Plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to scheduled safari time.
